A team of experienced professionals who provide outstanding service for our clients.

The IQM Assessor brings wisdom, experience, and compassion to our mission of working with schools. Our consultants have served as teachers, administrators, counsellors and coaches for decades. Our consultants have earned at least one advanced degree in education or counselling. We belong to professional associations and maintain a robust and active presence in the industry. As a group, we have amassed thousands of hours spent visiting and investigating colleges, schools and specialised programs, and we continue to seek out new resources as they become available. Our goal is to provide you with clear and accurate information and to clarify nuanced differences that may be difficult to discern.

Dr Livia Ostafe 

Dr Livia Ostafe is well versed in the different pedagogical approaches to early years and carefully blends research with real-life experiences. She can support school leaders in understanding child development and how to identify the emotional development of children from early years. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in the impact of trauma on children and how to create interventions to enable children to flourish. She is a Chartered Coach and Mentor. Her wealth of experience includes teacher training, lecturing and public speaking. She is a conference speaker known as a forward-thinking professional with a dynamic yet pragmatic approach that resonates with audiences. In her sessions, school leaders will benefit from the coaching approach that she would use in enabling them to reflect and create effective safeguarding structures and systems.

Mark Dixon

Mark Dixon has over twenty years experience of working in a variety of educational settings, including further education, secondary, pupil referral units and special schools. Mark is passionate about keeping children safe in education and ensuring their wellbeing. His roles within the various settings he has worked in have varied from classroom teacher to leadership. He has extensive knowledge of critical areas in inclusion and SEND, pupil progress, curriculum coordination, teacher training and pastoral care. He was currently working as an advisor in the education team for the London Borough of Redbridge. His role entails working with stakeholders in education to ensure that vulnerable children are well supported and make progress. He is an expert in working with schools, children and families and other external agencies to avoid exclusions from education. As an assessor on IQM, school leaders will find his insights into safeguarding and inclusion very helpful. 

Angelina Ikeako

 Angelina Ikeako is a School Improvement Expert and a leadership coach. She has worked in all cadres of the educational sector for about two decades, in both leadership, management and teaching roles. She is a fellow with the Education and Training Society in the United Kingdom. She is passionate about safeguarding and child protection. She has functioned in various roles in the United Kingdom, such as Deputy Safeguarding Lead, Lead School Governor on Safeguarding, Safeguarding Officer and Safeguarding Trainer. She is also a qualified assessor in the United Kingdom.

She served as Mayoral Special Adviser on Education in Barking and Dagenham Council United Kingdom 2018-2019. She is currently Deputy Head in the education team of Barking and Dagenham Council with a portfolio to champion education equality in supporting high achievement among the most vulnerable and high-risk children working with 100 schools within and outside the borough. She is also the CEO of Golden Links Educational Consultants.

She has authored and delivered several professional development courses and training to schools focused on safeguarding, restorative behaviour management approach, 21st century approaches to teaching and learning and school leadership courses. 

Safia Bari

Safia Bari is a passionate educator with over thirty years of experience as a teacher, school leader and principal. She is considered a transformational expert as she transformed failing schools into outstanding schools in Sweden. With an MA in Leadership and a certificate from the National School Leadership Program, she is currently CEO of School Bloom, where she works as an educational strategist and quality controller. 

School Safeguarding and wellbeing are one of her passions as she has supported schools in preparing for inspections and examining their safeguarding and wellbeing systems. Her methodology is focused on using a robust approach to respond to the gaps in the various schools that she has served. She has worked nationally and internationally across schools using the British, Irish, North American and International Baccalaureate. As an assessor on IQM, school leaders will benefit from her wealth of knowledge and vast experience but beyond that, from her friendly and open approach. 

Sacha Gillian

A highly experienced Deputy Safeguarding Lead with 16 years of progressive experience in the Education industry. Offering expertise in leadership, consulting and training. A conscientious and energetic self-starter and team builder able to navigate high-stress situations and achieve goals on time and under budget. Comfortable working and communicating with people from diverse backgrounds and having experience with trauma, abuse, addiction, depression, and conflicts.
